A netizen broke the news to reporters that when passing through the Dalang intersection in Longhua, Bao'an District, Shenzhen yesterday, he encountered Junduoli Enterprise, which was once one of the "Top 10 Enterprises in Shenzhen Industry (Optoelectronics) in China". Because the boss ran away and the employees had nowhere to collect their wages, they took extreme actions: they intercepted passing vehicles at the Dalang intersection, causing traffic to be blocked for an hour. Finally, it was cleared with the maintenance of a large number of police forces.
It was around 2 o'clock this afternoon. When passing through the Dalang intersection, the light was red. While waiting, I suddenly saw a group of people holding white banners and slogans, and quickly occupied the four intersections of the Dalang intersection (as shown in the picture above, because I didn't bring a camera at the time, I just took a photo with my mobile phone, so it's a bit blurry). In a very short time, the surrounding vehicles and people blocked the entire road, and traffic was interrupted from then on. When I got off the car, I could clearly see the white banner slogan: "Protect my own rights and interests, return my salary" and it was densely filled with signatures of employees. I learned that because the boss of Junduoli Enterprise ran away, they had nowhere to collect their own wages, and in the process of appealing to the government unit, they could not get a solution, so they made such extreme behavior. Tens of millions in arrears, the boss disappeared. The chairman of the top 10 companies in Shenzhen's optoelectronics industry owed more than 200 employees two months' wages, and owed tens of millions of debts to banks and suppliers. He disappeared on the eve of National Day.
Yesterday at noon, Junduoli Industrial Co., Ltd., located in Baolong New Village, Dalang Street, Bao'an District, was "surrounded" by more than 30 employees and suppliers. Junduoli employees said that the chairman Mao Guojun last appeared on September 30, and has been turned off since that night. Ms. Huang, a salesperson who has worked at Junduoli for nearly three years, said that the company owed employees a total of two months' wages, including one month's salary withheld when they joined the company. Several suppliers at the scene said that Junduoli owed them hundreds of thousands of yuan in payment for goods.
The relevant person in charge of the Langkou Community Work Station of Dalang Street said that the company owed 237 employees a total of about 610,000 yuan in wages in August this year. Xu Xiaodong from the Dalang Street Labor Management Office revealed that Mao Guojun still owed more than 20 million yuan in loans to China Construction Bank and about 33 million yuan in debt to the guarantee company. If Mao Guojun still does not pay the employees' wages today, he will be held criminally responsible for escaping from wage arrears. At present, the Dalang Subdistrict Labor Office has advanced 500 yuan of living expenses for more than 200 employees, and is preparing to apply for collective labor arbitration for the employees, asking the court to seal up the company and solve the wage arrears problem within 15 working days.
It is reported that the company has won more than 10 provincial and municipal honorary titles such as "China Shenzhen Industry (Optoelectronics) Top 10 Enterprises" and "Guangdong Province Lighting Appliance Top 10 Enterprises".
